Alex Busca: a guest at ACAO

On Monday 1 May 2017, our member Alex Busca, specialist gliding representative and current leader of the Open classification of the Italian Distance Championship (CID), had the honour of being invited to speak by the renowned ACAO gliding club of Calcinate in the province of Varese, to hold a conference on gliding in the Aosta Valley.
The topics addressed at the meeting were: flight conditions in the Aosta Valley in both thermal and wave soaring conditions, landing areas and the various possibilities of entering and exiting the valley passing by the hills to the east, west and north and from Andrate.
The meeting was also streamed live on the ACAO YouTube channel.
